The Berlin Prize for Young Artists is proud to announce the two winners for its 2021 competition (postponed due to COVID): violist Flora Marlene Geißelbrecht and bassoonist Joy Guidry.
After a pandemic-related delay, the finals for #BPFYA2021 were held on June 21, 2022 at Berlin's Villa Elisabeth. The winners were selected by a jury comprising pianist and composer Matan Porat, flutist Eric Lamb, cellist Julian Steckel, Barbara Lebitsch (director of artistic planning at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg), and Olivia Giovetti (editor at VAN Magazine).
